Starving due to CA cutbacks on disability, need food because CA cut back food stamps for people who get SSI, I get fourteen dollars on SSI which disqualifies my granddaughter and I from getting any help with food. My granddaughter is a special needs child which requires trips to Childrens Hospital on a regular basis and has mental difficulties and has to go to psyciotrist and theropist, is on medications that help to stabelize her. Between rent, car payment, electric, gas and phone, plus insurance on the car we have no money left. I can not work due to a stroke in 2005. If there is anyone who can help us please let us know.  in response to Pray...   How familiar this is with my 10 yr old. She is seeing a neurologist at Childrens hospital now because the psyciatrist ran a sleep deprived eeg and it came back abnormal. More tests will have to be done to see what is going on with her. My heart goes out to you because I know all to well these symptoms you have described. I had to lock in a cabinet all knives, sissors and anything else she uses to hurt herself. As for the violance it is massive in her and she roller coasters up and down on a daily basis. Please know that you both are in my prayers daily. My heart hurts for you because all we want is for our little ones to have a normal life. Bless you sweet friend. Donna
